C. Rosie Williams's role within the project is centered around working with Robert Arthern on the ice-sheet model WAVI at BAS. They will support the effort to couple the ocean model MITgcm with the ice model, and run forward simulations. Using Bayesian methods with the ensemble of model runs provides an improved assessment of the probable contribution to sea level from Thwaites Glacier during the 21st century.

Brandon Berg is a physics PhD student at the University of Michigan. He is working to understand the effect of crevasse movement and advection in glacier calving models in order to improve future projections of calving behavior.

Ben is one of the electrical engineers for the Icefin vehicle, tasked primarily with assembly of the electrical internals. He is also a Ph.D. candidate in the Ocean Science and Engineering program at Georgia Tech researching miniaturization of instrumentation for ocean AUV/ROV applications.

Andrew is an engineer and a member of the Icefin team that will travel to the Thwaites Glacier as part of the MELT Project. Icefin is a specialized underwater robotic vehicle designed to be deployed in the ocean through a narrow hole in the ice shelf. The team will use this remotely operated vehicle to map ocean cavities beneath the ice shelf and to improve understanding of the processes contributing to glacial melt and retreat. Andrew is currently designing instruments for Icefin and will contribute to the vehicles deployment and operations in Antarctica.

Daniel Dichek is the lead electrical engineer on the Icefin ROV/AUV team, and will be helping to deploy Icefin through holes drilled in the Thwaites Glacier. Icefin is an underwater ROV/AUV is designed to take under ice oceanographic data as well as bathymetry, sonar and imaging of the ice-ocean interface and the seafloor.

Amin Amiri is working on tasks to design the RF transponder and radar nodes to be deployed on Thawites.

Anthony is working on software and electrical engineering for the Icefin vehicle. Icefin is an underwater ROV/AUV is designed to take under ice oceanographic data as well as bathymetry, sonar and imaging of the ice-ocean interface and the seafloor.

Britney is a Co-Investigator on the MELT Project, and the PI of the Icefin team. Icefin is an underwater ROV/AUV is designed to take under ice oceanographic data as well as bathymetry, sonar and imaging of the ice-ocean interface and the seafloor.

Matt is the Lead Engineer of Icefin and is responsible for overseeing the mechanical and electrical engineering teams and ensuring that the vehicle is field ready. Icefin is an underwater ROV/AUV is designed to take under ice oceanographic data as well as bathymetry, sonar and imaging of the ice-ocean interface and the seafloor.

Paul Anker is a drilling engineer responsible for the hot water drill, which will be used to create holes through the Thwaites Glacier for the MELT project. He has designed, built and operated a number of hot water drills for the British Antarctic Survey over the last ten years, and used them to create access through ice shelves and ice streams across Antarctica and the Arctic.
